With a robust membership base of over 13,500 MSMEs, IIA has been at the forefront of industrial development for more than 38 years, creating an enabling environment for MSMEs to thrive in an ever-evolving industrial landscape.

Mission and Objectives
IIA’s mission is to promote MSMEs by fostering cooperation, supporting policy formulation, and addressing challenges faced by entrepreneurs. It provides a range of services including technical consultancy, legal assistance, and access to government schemes, helping MSMEs achieve sustainable growth.
Representation and Influence
IIA actively participates in 30+ consultative committees and boards, including:
- Member of the High-Level Task Force constituted by the Prime Minister's Office for MSME development.
- Advisory roles in RBI's Standing Committee for MSME Credit Flow and the erstwhile Planning Commission’s working groups for industrial policies.
Core Activities
Organizing trade fairs, expos, seminars, and conventions to connect MSMEs with global markets.
Acting as a resource group offering consultancy on technological, legal, and policy matters.
Facilitating business opportunities through international collaborations, buyer-seller meets, and B2B events.
Supporting entrepreneurs with capacity-building programs, surveys, and studies for professional growth.

- INDIA FOOD EXPO: A national event for agro and food processing industries, in partnership with the Ministry of Food Processing, Govt. of India.
- U.P. Exports News Letter: A bulletin designed to promote exports in collaboration with the Export Promotion Bureau, Uttar Pradesh.
- MKB Initiative: A joint venture with SIDBI offering single-window information facilities for MSMEs.
